Clean Combustion will deliver a multi-fuel burner with command and control systems and peripheral equipment such as a furnace monitoring system to JSC, Ilim Group for use in the Bratsk paper mill in Russia. Clean Combustion will act as a subcontractor to Macon AB in Sweden for the project.
Erection and commissioning are scheduled for Q2, 2017. The multi-fuel burner system will bring large operational benefits and significantly increase energy efficiency for the mill.
The Bratsk Branch of Ilim Group is a pulp and containerboard mill in Bratsk. It is one of the major producers in the Russian pulp and paper industry, traditionally supplying market pulp and containerboard to South-East Asia. They deliver products such as:
- Bleached hardwood and softwood kraft pulp
- Unbleached kraft pulp
- Wood chemicals
